Iran short ‘ARE YOU VOLLEYBALL?!’ en route to Poland

Iran short film ‘ARE YOU VOLLEYBALL?!’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 22nd edition of Zoom-Zblizenia International Film Festival in Poland.

Directed by Mohammad Bakhshi, the short film is to attend the competition section of the Polish film event.  

‘ARE YOU VOLLEYBALL?!’ tells the story of a group of Arab speaking asylum seekers who have lost their pacifications during the war and are seeking a better place in the world to live in. They arrive on the border and the story starts.

So far, the short film has succeeded to attend a number of internationally acclaimed film festivals including, the 19th edition of Ojai International Film Festival in California, the 18th edition of the Yari Iranian Film Festival in Sweden, the 13th edition of Batumi Film Festival in Georgia, the 25th edition of Adana Film Festival in Turkey, and the 4th edition of the Regina International Film Festival in Canada.

International Film Festival «ZOOM – ZBLIŻENIA» is a significant and important cultural event- part of a small group of the biggest and most important festivals of that type in Poland.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for February 18-24, 2018 in Poland.
